The LISA Conference is coming up in only a few weeks and for those who don’t know the LISA Conference, it is the de-facto System Administration conference. The LISA Conference has been ongoing for 23 years now and is put on by the USENIX Association in Berkeley, California. This year’s LISA Conference will take place in Baltimore, Maryland from November 1 to November 6.

Some of the most talented industry luminaries will be present at this year’s conference such as Tom Limoncelli, Author of Time Management for System Administrators (http://www.everythingsysadmin.com) and “The Practice of System Administration”, Tobias Oetiker, Creator of RRDTool (http://oss.oetiker.ch/rrdtool/), Rik Farrow (Editor of USENIX’s ;login Magazine), and a Keynote by Werner Vogels, CTO of Amazon.com.

We expect to have a great conference this year, and the USENIX Blog Team has already started to cover the event in preparation for LISA 2009.
