Diggnation is the online show produced by Revision3, a producer of Internet television, and put on by Kevin Rose and Alex Albrecht. Diggnation recently paid a visit to the Kitting Factory in Hollywood to record one of their live casts.

The show started off as any other general soirée: relaxed with the underground ambiance of the Knitting Factory’s hallows. Then there was free gear being thrown out to the crowd and the show started with Rose and Albrecht coming on stage with a roaring response from the crowd.

The live cast then commenced with torts and various topics being discussed and broadcasted online, which is avialable on the Diggnation website. This was a fun event and it included celebrity appearances from Lavar Burton and one of the Godaddy girls. The show was concluded with updates about upcoming news for Digg from Rose, which includes OpenID and Facebook connect integration.

Generally, I think this was a fun event, and I would like to see more technology-related events down here in Los Angeles. Whether they be purely technology focused, or more technology and fun oriented like the Diggnation meet-ups.
